TITLE OF LAB: USING LISTS FOR DRAG RACING RESULTS SUMMARY In this lab, we will create two Python lists containing the finishing times of the Chevy team and the Ford team of drag racers. Once we have the lists, we will go through each score and compare the two teams and report on which one won that race or if there was a tie. You should also report the different in the race times (larger minus smaller). You will also report which team won the most races- or if that was a tie. DELIVERABLES A source code Python file A Word document containing both source code and the screen print of the program outputs. LAB STEPS There are eight cars in each team called Chevy and Ford. One car from each team races its opponent on the drag strip. Create two Python lists. Then read in the racing times for the eight Chevy cars into the Chevy list and then read in the times for the eight Ford cars into the Ford list. Then process the two lists to compare the first Chevy to the first Ford and report which won the race and by how much time. Remember the fastest time wins! Report also if there was a tie. Keep track of the total wins of the Chevy and Ford team. At the end, report which team had the most wins or if there was a tie. HINT: The best way to do the processing is with a for loop using indexes to the arrays. Provide an opening and closing message.
