[Solved] Step Test Protocol 3 minute test predicts VO2max from recovery heart rate after 3 minutes of stepping subjects exercise

male 22 year old
heart rate = 120
calculate according to image which is 111.33 – (0.42 x 120 HR) =
answer the questions in bold as part of discussion.
talk about differences between step test and cycle ergometer.
also state the limitations.
second question in bold (looking at graphs attached)

heart rate is 120 beats/min

subjects body weight = 62.3kg
for the first part it refers to part II Estimations of vo2 max as shown by the photo

the graph attached shows heart rates plotted against watts and the last dot at the blue line is the actual heart rate of 198 beats/min of the subject (compare to theoretical value)
198 beats/ min corresponds to vo2 max value of 3.2 at (200 watts)- calculate accordingly.
Part II: Estimations of VO2MAX
(i) Cycle Ergometer Protocol

exercise at 50 watts, 100 w
